Majken Schultz, Ph.D has been a Professor of Management, at the Department of Organization, at Copenhagen Business School since 1996, and senior advisor to Reputation Institute. Majken is particularly responsible for the RI activities among the Danish member companies. Her research interests are located at the interface between culture, identity and image, corporate branding and reputation management. She is currently directing a large research project on how global companies create integrate behind their corporate brand. Majken has published more than 50 articles in international journals. Among her books are The Expressive Organization and Organizational Identity, both with Oxford University Press, co-authored with Mary Jo Hatch. Her most recent book, also with Hatch, Taking Brand Initiative: How Companies Can Align Their Strategy, Culture and Identity through Corporate Branding, co-authored with Jossey Bas, has been translated into Spanish, Korean and Danish. Majken has consulted with numerous companies and serves on the boards of Danske Bank and Realdania and the Board of Governors at the Academy of Management. She also active in the public debate.
