May 29-June 1, 2008	Beijing, China Reputation Institute held its 12th International Conference on Corporate Reputation, Brand, Identity and Competitiveness at the Great Wall Sheraton Hotel in Beijing, China. The conference explored reputation challenges and opportunities in China. The conference was generously sponsored by Telefónica, BBVA, CITIC and ICCA. May 31-June 3, 2007	Oslo, Norway Reputation Institute held its 11th International Conference on Corporate Reputation, Brand, Identity and Competitiveness at BI Norwegian School of Management in Oslo, Norway. The theme for the conference was "Innovation as a Reputation Platform". May 25-28, 2006	New York, USA Reputation Institute held its 10th Anniversary International Conference on Corporate Reputation with a return to New York (USA). The theme for the conference was Creating Value through Stakeholder Alignment. The conference was generously sponsored by Johnson & Johnson, FEDEX, and Reputations Corporation. May 19-22, 2005	Madrid, Spain The RI held its 9th International Conference on Corporate Reputation in Madrid (Spain). The theme for the conference was Reputation Risk and Corporate Accountability. The conference was chaired by S. Prakash Sethi, President of the International Center for Corporate Accountability and University Distinguished Professor at Baruch College/CUNY. The conference was sponsored by fRC and the Doctoral Consortium was sponsored by FEDEX. View conference program
May 19-22, 2004	Fort Lauderdale, Florida The RI held its 8th International Conference on Corporate Reputation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (USA). The conference was chaired by RI Executive Director Charles Fombrun. The opening night session was hosted by Nova Southeastern University's Huizenga Graduate School of Business. The conference was sponsored by Factiva and IBM.
May 22-24, 2003	Manchester, UK The RI held its 7th International Conference on Corporate Reputation at the Manchester Business School (UK) May 22-24, 2003. The conference opened with an evening presentation by Mary Jo Hatch (University of Virginia) on 'Branding as Jazz' (with a Jazz band performing live), and was chaired by Gary Davies. May 23-25, 2002	Boston, Massachusetts The RI's 6th Research Conference on Corporate Reputation, Identity, and Competitiveness was held in Boston, from May 23-25, 2002 . the Annual RI conference was chaired by Paul Argenti (Tuck School at Dartmouth) and featured a doctoral consortium (chaired by David Deephouse --U. of Alberta), as well as research presentations and panel discussions by academics and practitioners from around the world. May 17-19, 2001	Paris, France The RI's 5th Research Conference on Corporate Reputation, Identity, and Competitiveness was held in Paris, France. The conference was held at the Hilton Hotel and began with a doctoral consortium chaired by David Deephouse (U. of Alberta) and Mary Jo Hatch (U. of Virginia). Over 15 panel sessions featured cutting-edge presentations by leading academics and practitioners from around the world. The panel sessions were punctuated by 6 plenary sessions, lunches, cocktail parties, and a boat cruise on the Seine. We also took a few photographs along the way.
May 18-20, 2000	Copenhagen, Denmark The RI's 4th International Research Conference was held May 18-20, 2000 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and was sponsored by a group of companies that included Hoovers, Atomic Tangerine, Shandwick International, and Bergsoe4.
Previous Conferences (1997-1999)	The 3rd RI Research Conference was held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in January 1999 and was sponsored by Shandwick International. The 2nd RI Research Conference was held in January 1998 in Amsterdam (Netherlands), and was sponsored by ING Group. The 1st RI Research Conference was sponsored by Royal Dutch/Shell and was held in New York in January 1997.
