Currently, 23% of Spaniards (without Catalonia) affirm that they have stopped buying products from Catalonia and another 21% would do it in the near future. The reputations of companies that have moved their headquarters out of Catalonia have also suffered with Catalans. This study aims to determine the level of impact on Catalonia-based companies’ reputations due to the independence crisis and the level of association with Catalonia for these companies.
